MEET THE PASTOR
Brad Hardesty has served Cedar Creek since November 18, 2001. As interim pastor his first year, Brad helped move the worship service to a more blended style with guitar, some drama, and elements of other worship traditions. The youth have also become more involved in worship as well as various individuals serving in leadership in the worship service each Sunday.
Since November 18, 2002, Brad has been the pastor. He brings his love of music to Sunday worship as song leader, often accompanying congregational singing with guitar, ukelele, or dulcimer. Two talented pianists also accompany singing and provide various instrumental music. Brad completed a Doctor of Ministry in 1999, specializing in worship and brings many years of leading worship and preaching to Cedar Creek.
Brad and his wife Jan live just south of Goshen and enjoy traveling, theater, bird-watching and flower gardening. They have two grown daughters; Amanda, residing in Clare, MI and Rebekah, who lives in New York City.
Brad comes to Cedar Creek on Sunday mornings for Sunday school and worship. He is on-call for emergencies.
